This project proved to be an effective medium to identify challenges , sensitise family members and workers about sufferings.By combining cinematic video ,interactive discussions, parade, poster we created a learning experience and spread awareness.

This project focuses on identifying and addressing myths and misconceptions related to maternal and child health through research, a documentary, and community awareness drives. By combining scientific information with culturally relevant storytelling and educational outreach, the initiative aims to promote safe healthcare practices among mothers, caregivers, and local communities.

Sip shade survive
With rising temperatures and frequent heatwaves across India, heat-related illnesses have become an increasing public health concern, especially among vulnerable communities with limited access to resources and healthcare.

Humari Beti Humari Durga
The “Humari Beti Humari Durga” campaign successfully raised awareness about early marriage and teenage pregnancy. Interactive sessions improved students’ knowledge, encouraged open discussions, broke myths, and promoted informed decisions, leaving a positive, empowering, and lasting impact on adolescent participants.

Maternal and child health is a cornerstone of public health, yet it remains deeply affected by cultural myths and misconceptions, especially in rural and semi-urban areas. Ritual Reset is a student led project which aims to address such misconceptions through creative and impactful means — notably, a documentary and a community awareness campaign. This project revolves around identifying, understanding, and addressing common myths and misconceptions related to maternal and child care.

Project Saksham
Project Saksham, in collaboration with NACO and Burdwan Medical College, educated sex workers on STIs and HIV/AIDS through interactive sessions, peer discussions, and visual aids, promoting safe practices, reducing stigma, building trust, and encouraging health-seeking behavior in a marginalized community.

Project Jeevandhara is a student-led awareness initiative aimed at promoting voluntary blood donation by addressing myths, fears, and lack of awareness surrounding this life-saving act. What began as an educational effort within the medical college evolved into a community-oriented movement—reinforcing the belief that informed minds can inspire responsible action and save countless lives.

Project – Naari – Ujjwal : Gaon ki Shakti, Desh ki Pragati
Naari-Ujjwal is a student-led initiative aimed at empowering rural women through entrepreneurship and self-reliance. What began as a classroom activity evolved into a movement fostering confidence, leadership, and community growth – proving that when women rise, the nation progresses.

Breaking the Silence on PCOS in Rural Women
An UNSAID PANDEMIC is a student-led assessment and awareness initiative focused on highlighting the silent physical, psychological, and social burden of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) among rural women. What began as an academic public health exercise evolved into a platform for dialogue, education, and advocacy—aimed at breaking stigma and promoting early intervention for a condition often suffered in silence.

Project – ResQ – Decode the Code , Every Second Counts
Project ResQ is a student-led patient safety initiative focused on strengthening awareness of hospital emergency codes among medical students. What began as an academic learning exercise evolved into a critical preparedness program—reinforcing the idea that timely knowledge, calm response, and teamwork can save lives during medical emergencies.
