The inaugural leadership workshop in November 2024 marked a foundational step for students of SBIMS. With structured training sessions, students explored the principles of teamwork, goal-setting, and initiative-building.

Support from coordinators and interactive discussions helped students translate vision into action. The shared learning atmosphere motivated individuals to think beyond academic roles and take charge of real-world projects.

Armed with leadership essentials, SBIMS students are now ready to lead campus-wide and community-driven efforts, reflecting the spirit of NEST through collaboration and impact.

Prof. Dr. Anil Kumar Dubey MS, MCh (Pediatric Surgery), LLB, ACME, PGDHPE Professor & Head, Department of Surgery – SBIMS, Raipur

Prof. Anil Kumar Dubey brings over three decades of surgical expertise and academic leadership to Shri Balaji Institute of Medical Sciences. A gold-medalist from Pt. JNM Medical College, he pursued his MCh in Pediatric Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh. Blending clinical excellence with medical education, Dr. Dubey also holds credentials in Law, Health Professions Education, and Medical Education from prestigious institutions like SRIHER and Era University. He has contributed to national and international journals, authored book chapters on NTD and intersex disorders, and led multiple community-based research projects. A passionate teacher and mentor, he remains deeply committed to surgical training, legal-medical integration, and healthcare innovation.
